Final decision
The skipper/operator makes the final decision to start, change, shorten or cancel a session.
This decision may also be made immediately before the session if weather, technical or organizational conditions require it.
Safety briefing
Before going on the water, the briefing covers at least:
- life jackets and basic equipment,
- no alcohol before or during the session,
- safe behavior on board,
- emergency procedure,
- skipper authority,
- no independent handling of the yacht without the consent of the skipper present on board.
Weather
The session may be cancelled or moved because of wind, storms, poor visibility, low temperature, technical issues or other safety-related circumstances.
A safety cancellation is not treated as a customer fault.
